- High Hawaiian Fog by Coppice Halifax (Milieu)

In case you didn't know Coppice Halifax is one of the aliases of a certain Mr Brian Grainger otherwise known as Milieu (and err... Brian Grainger). Over the years he's been a prolific musician with literally millions of releases out. Now they're slowing down and other folks are releasing 'em and Wil-Ru have delivered this LP to you, the adoring public. The press release for this is spot on. Namely these 2 sentences...
Six dense constructions of seawater and sand, etched into two black sides, recalling influences such as GAS, Casino Versus Japan, The Caretaker and even Brian's work as Milieu.
This is womblike psychedelic techno made by scraping the bones of Stravinsky, Satie, Mussorgsky, Smetana, Debussy and Delius across drum machines on a plush carpeted dancehall, long since overgrown and forgotten by the sea on a silent cruise liner's wreckage.
I can't better either of these as these sum it up brilliantly and anything else I write will sound shit. And quickly onto my summary sentence....It's superbly chilled wonky melodic electronica along the lines of Casino Versus Japan who I love and therefore I love this.
