Just 'cause I said I liked the flute on the Littlebow album doesn't mean you can throw all the flutey material at me to review PHIL! Unfortunately he's refusing to listen to me as, currently, his internal monologue at all times is Queen's Greatest Hits Vol. 1 which he has on really loud like a twat such as Jeremy Clarkson would in his stupid bigoted car-like brain when he doesn't feel like listening to people's hopes, dreams and fears, like, ever. (stop being a bell end Brian. P x) This is pretty cool, mainly due to the back-story whereas this nu-primitive Lyon-based M/F duo landed in a power-deprived Bristol cinema and improvised a drums 'n' flute set. So it sounds like Chris Corsano backing Ian Anderson in a big cupboard. There is no point getting fucking academic about it. When it really starts getting going around half-way into the second piece, it's bakin' mamma, jeez them cakes are HOT!!! Much love to them for their unwavering commitment to back-to-basics improv and their audience. I'd have liked to have been there as this is a fantastic way of making an overcast Wednesday morning in this cramped office bearable.
