Acid Mothers Temple's Makoto and sometime collaborator Pikacyu have joined cosmic arms and minds and traversed the Golden Void to bring you 13 sweet ass cuts of deranged space/psyche rock that remind you that space is the place. It's a match made in sonic heaven. They spew riffs and time changes at you with no thought for their own safety. It sounds like a far eastern Vialka. It's definitely progressive and shrouded in space mysticism. All the song have a kind of sprawling "Jamming one off " feel. The verse and chorus structure is not one that these guys care for. It's more like motifs and "movements". The songs or "pieces" have a great energy and feel. It sounds good. The production is also what you might call progressive, it's airy and clear. You can really immerse yourself in the instruments. The whole thing sounds very much like Acid Mothers - as it would being that one of the Acid Mothers core members is involved. It does have a slightly more feminine feel than Acid Mothers. Sometimes the arrangements are quite sparse, and at other moments its a saturated feel that threatens to take you to space and beyond. if you love Acid Mothers and are quite taken by space rock with a psych edge then this record will be right up your cosmos. A heady progressive collection of solar nuggets...truly warriors on the edge of time...
