I like these guys a lot. I got a bit obsessed a while back and had to hunt down as much vinyl as possible and it got a bit much so I stopped. They've released a lot of music! This is their first for a while though... ages in fact and I had no idea it was coming out until yesterday. I'm well in the loop me. If you're not familiar with their brand of hazy sounding stoner blues then now is the time to get familiar. These guys are chongtastically good creating drifty sounding stonery folk business with a dash of blues. There's lots of wah wah and flanging effects or maximum space out potential. The sound on the album is quite a full one with the production being reasonably meaty compared to other lofi releases (and you've got The Golden Road fleshing the sound out 'n all). Weirdly it works (I tend to prefer the more lofi sound) more than it should do. I always get this vibe that when I'm listening to them the music is coming from another room. I'm not sure how they do that... it's obviously some sort of hippy magic which needs addressing at some point. In the meantime I'd strongly recommend you pick this up and enjoy it at your nearest convenience.
