These just landed in the mail this morning and they look pretty sweet in oversized 6" sleeves which aren't gonna fit neatly on a CD shelf but I'm guessing you've maybe got an oversized section so it's just gonna have to go there. On the album you get 12 tracks of blissed out ambience. Some of the tracks follow a more traditional ambient droney route and others are more interesting with weird spacey sounds and strange otherworldly noises. In fact otherworldy sums up this CD nicely...the pieces sound like soundtracks to alien worlds with strange flora and fauna inhabited by deranged looking Pete Fowler monsters. Some of the tunes have an ambient techno feel to them which I kinda like as it reminds me of a some of the stuff I used to listen to 20 years ago (when I was discovering electronic music for the first time). As far as ambient albums go this one is an interesting with a diverse selection of sounds on offer. In fact I can't really think of anyone it sounds like which can only be a good thing!
