Lafayette Blues by The White Stripes

Anyone wanting to get their hands on an original copy of The White Stripes’ Lafayette Blues 7” will likely be disappointed - there are few in existence, and when one comes on the market they shift for mega-money. Fortunately Third Man have had the neat idea of reissuing the single at a far more modest price. The title track is a classic early Stripes stomp - thumping kick drum, a guitar that seems about to Hulk out at any moment, and a back-and-forth shouting match between Jack and Meg. You’ll likely know B-Side ‘Sugar Never Tasted So Good’ from its appearance on the group’s eponymous debut LP.

Vinyl 7" £5.99 TMR089

2nd ever single reissued on Third Man.

Sold out.
