8/10 Clinton Staff review, 03 June 2011

About 49 human faces adorn the cover of this record, none of them white. Racists... I joke of course, for some unfathomable reason I've been given a reggae 12" to review. I suppose with little
subtle manoeuvrings I can slot it into Clint's World Music Corner which I'm sure you have been tuning in for each week (and crying into your Weetabix when it didn't appear for the last two). Its a superb chunk of '70s stylee organic reggae with nods to the studio one crowd. Catchy as an e. coli outbreak, wobbly bass fully intact and with a wonderful dubbed out second section lasting just as long as the vocal bit, so you get the original track and the dub version on one track. Brilliant! Flip it over and there is de dub version in full effect, bass brought to the fore, bit o' reverb on the old snare and piano there we have it. Nothing new here but old school reggae aficionados may want to break out the herb on one of these lovely summers evenings with this as the soundtrack.

8/10 Alex Customer review, 1st December 2012

This is quite simply the best Tenor Saw track. In addition to the signature singing of Tenor Saw, you get a superb rumbling bass line, magnificent horn punctuations and real guitar. The Version or dub is equally brilliant. Absolutely one of the best reggae tracks or all time.
