One of the highlights of the recent album gets the old fashioned jungle style VIP treatment. It's a track that is instantly recognizable with its Ini Kamazi vocal sample, however the LP version went into Chicago footwork territory whereas this pulls it back to '93 with proper jungle rhythms. Gosh, it's been too long since I got some jungle out... Shit!!! When will a musical revolution like that happen again??? Dubstep? Nope! That owes a lot to jungle. ZzzzzzzZZZzZZZzz. This is a pretty straight up floor tune actually, no messin' about with twists and tricks just pure floor functionality, almost feels like you could have heard Dillinja drop it back in the day. Two tracks on the flipside, the first of which is 'Caveman Style' which is a slow and heavy pounder that recalls Mark Pritchard's own 'Elephant Dub' for Mala's Deep Medi label in terms of its pure weight, although it is less stripped back. 'Seek Em Step' is another heavy tune with its muddy stomp and hi-res bleeps, it gets better and better with an off kilter monotone techno sorta vibe and proper crunchy percussion. Every track in here will do massive damage on a soundsystem cranking it til 7AM.
RE>WIND!!! Tip
 >>> If you're looking for a mega heavy rinsing tune that also apes the Ini Kamoze vocal sample then look no further than 'A Murder Of Crows' EP by Gunjack which is now OOP on the Consume label but well worth hunting out.
