Debut Planet Mu release from this Bay Area producer which consists of pitch altered soulful male vocal, lots of bleeps shifting around and crowd pleasing bassline. Sort of IDM meets dubstep/R&B/chiptunes. Not a zillion miles from what Falty DL gets up to in some ways. Shame it ends when it does as I was left wanting a little bit more but hey-ho still not a bad tune. plenty of little production tricks to keep it moving and feeling somewhat fresh. The remix on the underside comes from Heterotic (a.k.a. Mike Paradinas and Lara Rix-Martin) which has big carnival drums, pitches down and loops the vocal and has some Moroder style arpeggio action. This mix gets really sweet as it progresses with heavenly synths delivering a real feel good push. Very nice track indeed.
