8/10 Benn Staff review, 30 June 2011

Firstly, I must point out that this is not a German Punk Rock group, but an indie/chill wave Londoner, whose first song introduces a cool start to the album, the sound of a man whistling and walking, to a radio, which he then turns on. The noise that comes out of it seems to repeat itself a hundred of so times, which then turns into a very cool, feel good song. Although there is some pretty weird vocal range going on, the music is really, really good! Some really simple off-beat drumming, next to an overlap of different mechanical sounds. Although there isn't a specific structure to the song, there is a real good atmosphere around it. The song itself isn't the best, but it does make you smile. Well it made me smile, if you ever feel down I suggest this band. Oh, i should probably mention the name of the first song. Caffeine ft. Gaskel Greed. On to song two! Continuing with the smooth chilled feel, song two isn't much different. It does however ft Vondelpark (I actually have no idea who he or she is but continuing...). This song contains a lot of cool and catchy guitar and a nice beat on a drum machine, not as good as the first, which really does make you smile, nonetheless, still a pretty good song. In fact all of these tracks are pretty good, they all have that feel good feeling surrounding them. The man behind this (who has been snapped up by the record label 'Tough Love Records' just six months into creating the project) is Will Archer, who hasn't been in anything ever before, so considering the music he comes out with, I would say that he's pretty damn good! And on top of that the whole record was created at home! Surely this must prove that the man has talent?!
