Dust is album number seven by the Mark Lanegan-helmed Screaming Trees. It also happens to be their last full album before disbanding. First released in 1996, Dust is a dark and bluesy record of tough American post-grunge, haunting and heavy. This 2CD expanded reissue edition includes B-sides, live recordings, and other rare material. On Hear No Evil.

9/10 Jack Customer review, 27th June 2017
This is not a great grunge album; it doesn't really fit the genre and to say that would be reductive anyway. This is simply a great album, and in my opinion, one of the best of the '90's. Every song is a standout, and as such, the album flows seamlessly from one track to the next in a swirl of guitars, cello, percussion, various keyboards and probably the finest vocals of Lanegan's storied career. It would be easy to bemoan what would have been had the band not imploded, but it makes much more sense to enjoy the album they left us.
