Now then, this chap is somewhat a chameleon in some ways, effortlessly blending in with whatever current musical climates appear over the years but he's very capable with his machines/computer and is therefore forgiven. I think there is a distinct difference between total bandwagon jumpers and those that take active musical climates and absorb them into their own sound. Here we get the post/future garage-isms, footwork tempos and rhythms, etc. all filtered through Travis Stewart's kaleidoscopic vision of funky electronic music and I gotta say he does a pretty darn solid job throughout. Like so many records from Planet Mu these days this just smudges all of the lines between house, garage, techno, Hip-hop, RnB, wizard-house, gremlin-funk.. Whatever, who cares??? Just get down!
