Last time I had a Too Pure single to review I wanted to kill everyone involved. Fortunately, this one is a lot better and the artwork was done by an ex housemate of new man Mike here at the towers, so it just wouldn't be right to threaten death upon them. Its a nice little record, winsome but energetic strummy indie guitar gear with nods to The Wedding Present and perhaps Vampire Weekend but has a delicious English feel to the whole thing. Fresh as a daisy in fact. The guitars do that thing that the guitars did on the Wild Beasts 'Two Dancers' album, and on Orange Juice records -  strummy, trebly, high up the fretboard. The B side is equally good sounding like a Radiohead who have ditched the faffing around with electronics and started intertwining guitars and melodies as if their very existence depended on it. These lot have emerged from the ashes of This Et Al by the way and this comes with free download  - what else do you want to know? I don't know  - its pretty damn good. Buy it!
