'Attention Please' is the seventeenth studio album from Japanese musical chameleons Boris. The trio are widely known for their constantly shape-shifting style, covering genres as far afield as psychedelia, shoegaze, post-metal, drone and stoner metal often within the same song. Released on the same day as their second 'Heavy Rocks' album, 'Attention Please' is more in the vein of 'New Album' with it's shimmering noise pop and shoegaze stylings than the raw stoner rock of 'Heavy Rocks'. The album is the only Boris record to feature vocals exclusively from lead guitarist Wata.

Boris, who are well known as masters of the heavier-than-you-think-possible guitar-noise genre, are forced out of their comfort zone, quite probably by vocalist Wata's desire to branch out. As in breathy ballads and atmospherically shifting soundstages and 12-string guitars. This is a moody mostly-electric masterpiece. For the very small proportion of the population who qualify as "audiophiles" and care about acoustic quality in recordings, it's a double masterpiece; the quality of the sound on this one is diamonds all over.
