8/10 Jack Customer review, 14th December 2015

Impossible to describe, this album must be heard to be believed. It's an example of the traditional music of Western Sahara merged with Jimi Hendrix (according to the group's founder). "Zayna Jumma" is one of my favourites as it has great melodies, strong, throaty vocals, and driving, hypnotic, North African beats. The recording quality is very live and a little raw. In a way, it reminds me of R.L. Burnside's album, Raw Electric, or Group Inerane's Guitars from Agadez. Group Doueh have a truly unique sound.
