The vocals are quite goth-y and overall they're a well-honed 'n' tight unit. Check the luscious guitar sound. WAH aren't as metal as they look on the sleeve, i'd say they sound like goth-tinged crazy-ass rednecks. The flip side is my favourite song on this slip of a vinyl. It's three-odd minutes of Southern stomp crushed with eyeliner. It's on Third Man as well! It oozes quality, this record, even if its a bit goth-y for my tastes. A solid release from an entertaining and promising band. Rumours that Jack White's face will appear in a cracked mirror above your head if you play this record backwards have been quashed by the producer. Well worth checking out...
