Jack White exceeds himself again by subjecting the world to an interview with Jerry King, the most rootin' tootin' varmint ever to clutch and bang a gable. This pardener has seen and most probably done it all. Jerry was there when Kennedy bought the farm. He was there buffing Neil Armstrong's helmet (ohh err, just thought I'd go all Julian Clary on your asses) when man first put his plates of meat (feet) on the surface of de moon. He also won an oscar for his convincing portrayal of an African-American school teacher in 'To Sir, With Love'. This curio has an interview with the "King" of auctioneering, discussing how to do that really fast talking thing that only auctioneers can do, and what things are allowed and not allowed in the cut-throat world of auctioneering. It's full of interesting facts, like did you know that there is a auctioneering school. Wow!!!! Amazing stuff really. Part of Jack White le IIIrds "people who aren't musicians but have some sort of merit that I cant quite fathom" series. Comes with a ten gallon stetson and a free ticket to Austin where Jack White will auction off parts of his body to the highest bidder and then record the ensuing mess (when I say highest bidder I mean someone who is willing to pay the most money not someone who's been rocking lifepipes all day.)
