8/10 Brian Staff review, 24 March 2011

Punny name that ain't it? This tune has a sweetly naive outlook with a sparse drum machine, muddied grizzled guitar & many atmospheric production touches. The girl singer has one of those wistful half-spoken Estuary English voices and they sound altogether really young, like they're just tentatively finding their feet! 'Fix' is by no means an accomplished tune, it occasionally stutters endearingly & the guitar shuffles & shambles along like it's nervously recording it's first ever demo! All that aside it does have a really appealing, ghostly, dream-like sound & something about it's aura is undeniably charming. Think along lines an embryonic XX having a cidery kiss on a park bench with a slightly drunken Pull in Emergency? I dunno......this tune sticks in your head afterwards which so many songs these days just don't!
