Emerging on the consistent Australian label Sensory Projects, this band of misfits create a churning psychedelic drone beast, best exemplified on opener 'Saturday I Died' which is blatantly in thrall to the Kraut grooves of Can and Neu! but with Animal Collective style hollering over the top. The track breaks down into improv noise about half way through its 15 minute running time but it's the first 7 or so minutes that really impress. 'Aquatic Life' is a low end three chord drone recalling ace New Zealand noiseniks Snapper as well as the more obvious Spacemen through the most contemporary reference point would be the all-over-the place schizophrenia and devil may care sprawl of Liars. 'House Wolf' is based on fantastic skittering drums and organ infused with the sound of Suicide, MC5 and assorted German droners. Elsewhere the eerie pyrotechnics of early Pink Floyd emerge amidst the dust.
