Third drop from Jamie Roberts, this time for R&S who are slowly hoovering up the Hessle Audio artist roster and it's a belter with the A side sporting a rigid, solid thudding kick with proper oldskool Bam Bam alike quirky acid - lin. The track breaks 3/4 way and then the kick stomps back in. A wriggler of a tune I reckon, recalling Untold perhaps. Flip the plate for 'Kaz' which reveals a more caustic acid sound and percussion that's edging on bleeps' n bass to begin with but then that massive kick beefs things up helped along by steady woodblock percussion. I must say it's very refreshing hearing acid tracks working with this post dubstep percussion sequence. Finally 'Lavender' is a right stomper with full sub bass experience, some acid squiggles and heavy jackin' claps. It's like Robert Armarni making UK bass music and is well bangin. The tracks are all functional and 100% solid ass movers.
