8/10 Brian Staff review, 02 March 2011

Merging glistening electronics with epic pop laments is probably nothing new but this side project by Sebastian Arnström of Swedish band Aerial has done a nice job here. The album opens in a Death Cab For Cutie meets Notwist vein and it's immediately clear from the melancholy stargazing vocals you're listening to something with a Scandinavian pedigree! The production is crisp & rich, guitars chime and mingle with the expertly layered synth lines. Once again there's a mild suggestion of the 80s present but only sporadically. One track is interjected with a filthy coating of guitar sludge that lifts occasionally to reveal the blissed anthemic European pop beneath. If you like your euphoric, melodic sensitive indie then this is for you. It definitely oozes quality!!
