A four song slice of power pop from the band who gained quite a lot of props in the 80's when a foppish singer with a penchant for inserting flowers in his bottom and having a quiff to match Ray Wise in Robocop wore one of there T-shirts for a photoshoot for Allied Dunbar. The Primitives are back...and this time they have brought some long forgotten sixties girl fronted pop group covers with a big shiny production and a fuckload of tunefulness. Its a great concept and its well done. The vocals sound great and the instrumentation is also ace. Its a return to form by a band who's tune ridden songsmithery has been sorely missed. Sweet as apple pie....
