Fully Qualified Survivor by Michael Chapman

If anyone could be described as a Fully Qualified Survivor it's Michael Chapman. He can't have known that though when he recorded this album in 1970. This one showcases Chapman's acoustic troubadour side with a series of British folk rock that is up there with the best of the genre. Also features an early appearance from Mick Ronson before he was nabbed by Sir David Bowie.

I've got no clue about how Michael Chapman only got to enter my musical universe at this point. Being long introduced to British folk artists such as the Incredible String Band, Roy Harper, Nick Drake, Al Stewart, Tir Na Nog's great 1st album, Fairport Convention, Bert Jansch to name but a few, Michael Chapman was mysteriously unheard of by me - until now. Michael Chapman's unique craft is on offer for all to hear - a highly distinctive voice, strong and fluid playing, and great songwriting with insightful lyrics.
