Jukebox 45 obscurity time with this charming Caribbean jazz, rhythm and blues track from this prolific 40's/50's Philly musician. Although in many ways this sounds pretty straight forward listening now I can imagine at the time the unusual percussion and strange off-kilter latin rhythms would have been fairly experimental at the time although I'm sure it still moved some butts. Not to be confused with Chris Powell who got five caps kicking about the old leather sphere for England.
