This sucker is part of a new series on the Preservation label called Circa. Only 300 made apparently 'n all! Is he from Italy? You'd think so given his name but I don't like jumping to conclusions and that. The music I've heard by him before has been on a more ambient tip but this is a bit different as it features drums.... In fact it features a chap called Rich Baker (who plays with Aidan) banging away fleshing the sound out in a way I wasn't expecting. In fact the the opener isn't a million miles away from Nadja, fuzzy doomy (ish) guitars smothered in feedback and effects over some slow echoey beats. It works really well actually. By track 3 it's turned into a psychedlic noise fest... I leapt out of my chair when it started. Wasn't expecting that level of noise. The albums veers from a more shoegazey fuzzy drone thing (with beats) to full rocking out instrumentals. Totally not what I expected but very entertaining indeed.
