A gentle folk style romp through this dreary unfeeling plot of land that some people call life. The title track seems to be about the pains of living in the modern world. It sounds like Billy Bragg or summat. I reckon its a pretty nice song. I quite like its folk rock leanings. It does dip its toe into Counting Crows territory sometimes. It could be the best busking song ever. It has a 'from the cold streets', 'my dog's leash is a bit of crap rope' kind of feel to it. You can almost smell the oppression from here. Its a strong offering from an obviously talented songwriter.
