6/10 Dave Staff review, 31 March 2011

One of the members of Cliffe Swan (or Lights) steps out on their own. The results are breathy and drenched in astral projection oil. Sophia Knapp's new single is a fairly new age affair, with dreamy synths and hushed vocals. I can imagine lots of yoga being done to this type of music. Lots of yoga. It's a hard single to review as it A) floats by in a manner that that suggests it is made out of some sort of mystical gas and 2) its soo quiet. I reckon it doesn't sound too bad. It's just not my cup of ginseng tea or summat. It's obviously a nice composition that defies comparison. If William Hurt from Altered States made music after coming out of his isolation Chamber it might sound like this. Not bad...it makes me feel sleepy zzzzzzz.
