6/10 Clinton Staff review, 21 January 2011

Birthday boy Phil saved me this one saying I'd like the name. Whats he saying like? That I like boys? I'll have him outside (not in that way!!). Anyway here they are with what I believe is a debut single for a boys club and the lads have obviously been listening to Spiritualized and Spectrum between playing pool and causing a ruck. Anyway this does have that mid 90's shoegazer sound but is saved by a very catchy fist pumping chorus. The B side has the dark goth edge of the preposterous likes of O Children and White Lies and the big Euro goth pomp of Placebo. Eyeliner at the ready lads - these lot could be big...and one of them has a moustache!
