This is a strictly limited pressing with hand stamped label and sleeve. As far as I am aware it is also the debut from this Sydney based high school student. The first tune 'Get Rid Of This Guy' is an unusual beat construction with firing rim-shots spaced out synths and vocal snippits creating the rhythms. It certainly shares an affinity with some of the footwork tunes blasting outta chi-town. The title tune is brooding with distant clanking industrial rhythms and a really ultra wonky, disorientating lead synth that's leaving me a little woozy. It sounds like a wasp after too much Ketamine. 'Dead Keys' is a sorta majestic number and then goes into the weird zone with a dismembered soul vocal. As this one builds I'm quite getting into this artists style. 'Lean Disco' Offers a brief but well out there darkside interlude before the EP closes with 'Glitter Variables' again I'm not sure exactly where this one fits in, in terms of the beats, tempo etc. it is out here on it's own... What is it??? Post IDM???? Who cares??? Great EP!!!
