Vision Quest. A native American rite of passage, but more importantly a classic eighties high school wrestling drama featuring Matthew Modine and Linda Fiorentino. You might know it as Crazy For You, since they wanted to cash in on the mint Madonna theme tune in some markets. Topanga. A canyon, but more importantly the girl from Boy Meets World who everyone used to fancy when they were eleven. These things have somehow combined to create a spacey slab of smoothly psychedlic instrumental loungewave or some such shit.. Rough it up a (fair) bit and it wouldn't be that out of place on Olde English Spelling Bee. I don't mind admitting that this is way better than I expected it to be.

7/10 Andrew Customer review, 7th August 2014

This is a pleasant if slightly insubstantial release by the Seahawks, though they are hardly known for going for the jugular with in your face sounds. This trips along in its cosmic, psychedelic way acting as a sonic balm, which is lovely. As a piece of mood music, something to soundtrack a chilled evening in the sun its just right, however assessed more critically it could benefit from a few more hooks, or a little bit of extra grit in the groove if it is to be more memorable. I've played this a few times and enjoyed it, so its not bad, but to be honest I'd struggle to hum you it if you asked me the next day how it goes.

None of this will suprise those that have been following the Seahawks, they can hit higher than this and seem to be developing a more coherant sound on more recent releases such as the more widely acclaimed Paradise Freaks. This is a decent release, enjoyable and certainly not without merit just perhaps a little lightweight in its loveliness.
