8/10 Phil Staff review, 09 December 2010

Also on the Databloem label is a CD by Nostalgia which is also floating my boat. It's dark though.... Dark, brooding ambience with a heavy foreboding feeling of doom. But beneath it all is a sense of hope and lightness peeking out and taking the edge off. I had to write edge three times then..... I kept spelling it like egde which is clearly wrong. Sometimes your fingers just don't work and you need to stop, look at the keys and think about the letters. Could be the onset of Parkinsons... I'm not sure. There are elements of post-rock in this but it's on the heavier dark Jesu side. I think if you like Jesu and Nadja and that kind of happy doom then you'll shit yourself with excitement over this thing. I think it's one to put on when you've had an argument with the missus and you've got a bottle of whiskey nearby, not one for a kid's party like.
