A collaboration between John Frusciante (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and the ludicrously named Aaron Funk (Venetian Snares) is the type of thing that only happens in the bizarre dreams you have following a diet of cheese and coffee before bed. But this is no dream, this is reality mate and here it is. What we get is skittery tuneful electronica that bounces around the room like a madcap terrier, sniffing at this and that, barking at the wall. It could be comparable particularly to Aphex Twin's Analord series or the early acid tinged work outs of Squarepusher. Its very tuneful for Funk and where Frusciante fits in only he knows but what they do together are analog 303 and 808 jams with added Uziq string samples to good effect.
