The new single from the mercurial Scouse pop fucks is as rustic as a load of chickens making there way to a barn dance with Sally the Cow as compere and Cluck Norris doing the main set. (Cluck Norris is a ragtime rooster). Its bordering on alt country I guess and has a quiet understated feel. The song is pretty strong and it sounds very traditional... Mebbe even folky. The flip side is a cover of The Byrds' classic 'Feel A Whole Lot Better'. I reckon they have done a sterling job. It's a pretty strong double header is this single and if you like The Coral this will be right up your Kirsty Alley.
