These North-Eastern noisenik crew's new single is pretty good. It sounds like Maximo Park if they had been lifting weights and listening to QOTSA ather than lifting books and listening to Morrisey. The wusses. Anyway, this single is a hi-tempo affair with a hook laden chorus, a couple of rousing verses and a 6 minute long madrigal breakdown. Erm, not really! Well the madrigal part is not happening but the rest of the above sentence is true. It might even be considered "anthemic" or something. The flip side is quite good too. It's a pounding flight of fancy. It's not too bad all in all. I just wish I didnt think of Byker Grove when I hear them sing....
