Great name for an EP. Peanuts Butter.... genius! Info is skinny on the ground with this one but Yuka is a Japanese folk lady and she's backed up by Doronco from Les Rallizes Dénudés playing his axe and singing a wee bit here and there. Great name for an EP. Peanuts Butter.... genius! Info is skinny on the ground with this one but Yuka is a Japanese folk lady and she's backed up by Doronco from Les Rallizes Dénudés playing his axe and singing a wee bit here and there. The music is very simple almost twee folk. The opener is riciculously light and frothy and wierdly enjoyable. It gets a bit more psychey later on throughout the EP as the electric guitar traverses to widdly territory. But lurking around the widdlyness is some gentle acoustic strumming and Yuka's voice being all folksy and mystical. I was expecting a right noisefest and instead I got gently massaged by some sweet folk.
