- Dust In Our Mouths by Wraiths

The credits on the sleeve notes read: Nakir: Shovel & Bier - Gaendall: Coffin & shroud so from that you should gather we're amidst some morbid funeral music which interests me greatly as I seem to have been surrounded by death and bad news this week. The single piece begins with bells and distant howls like a storm is brewing with muted distorted noises gathering a slow, well paced momentum. The cold hand of death is just a little beyond reach at this point. Gradually the demonic howls come closer until the point where they become tangible. Then at around 15 mins in Death gets a hold and organs begin to fail, bodily functions become uncontrollable and higher forces are now in control of this shell, a mere vehicle for the soul. Then the noise begins like a thousand voices from your life all speaking to you at once... A simultaneous sense of dread and ecstacy as the sounds flush towards you like waves, first quiet and then louder as they approach, flooding ears and then retreating. Death's hand is in control and all you have is faith. Helpless in the prison of a wooden box soil is laid upon you, but you're still alive... The doctors fucked up... Oh shit it's too late, your fingers bleed as you scrape the wooden box but nobody can hear you scream from six feet under. They thought the Plague had terminated you. It has now.... Hahahah I went well off on one there! This is a super immense darkside trip which gets brilliantly dense towards the end with huge washes of cascading noise. Highly recommended for the fiends.
