Scuba is first up tackling 'On The Bright Side' with his distinct pristine production sound, totally blurring the lines between house, techno, dubstep and future garage. 9/10 Ant Staff review, 11 November 2010

An impressive line up here, they better not let me down... Scuba is first up tackling 'On The Bright Side' with his distinct pristine production sound, totally blurring the lines between house, techno, dubstep and future garage. He stamps his flavour all over it and gives it a swinging, fresh and uplifting party vibe. For a comparison I reckon it recalls some of Fourtet's recent remix action. Falty DL's 90's Bleep Mix -'When Purple Turns Green' - is super sweet too, adding a break, plus big sub bass, creating a savvy shuffler. And of course Falty DL is no stranger to melody. No beats are present on side B as Oneohtrix Point Never takes on 'Funseeker'. I'm not familiar with the original track but this could easily be something off of Lopatin's recent 'Returnal' album as it's instantly recognizable as his distinctive cosmic synth sound. Finally Kompakt's Walls close with 'A Better Shore' which is a subtle and understated take, with infectious bass and pretty, lucid electronics. A winner of a 12" all round with great loud cut and high quality packaging throughout.
