The Runaround Kids really look like kids, little guys starting out in the world... One of them is even pictured on the sleeve with a broken leg which he probably incurred skateboarding or partaking in a dance-off or whatever it is kids do before they start drinking and wasting their lives on work and casual observation. 'No Dreams' reminds me of early Archers Of Loaf and confirms my belief that only kids know how to truly rock!! It's a non-offensive dose of indie-pop with breakdowns and build-ups and all the stuff that made listening to music so exciting in the first place. B-side 'Falling Into Better Hands' is equally as joyful and angry at the same time. Does anyone remember a short lived American indie rock band called Small? We'll they sound like them. It's making me nostalgic for the days when the word emo didn't exist and college rock ruled the airwaves.
