The Future Bass series rolls on with a 12" from Untold featuring two exclusive tracks. Mint! Untold is described as post-everything, contemporary futurist dance music which i reckon is a pretty fair explanation of his work here. 'Come Follow Me' is a dark as hell slab of post dubstep minimalism that seriously broods. The beats here are crispy and well thought out with layers of percussive tones assisting the slight shuffle in the groove. Other than that it's pretty much a few cold synth tones and an odd percussive bleep here and there but the overall effect is totally devastating. Bet this sounds banging on a loud sound system. 'Fly Girls' reflects it's upbeat title and brings a little party to the proceedings. This one sorta reminds me of Debruit and plays on African rhythm and tone to achieve the desired effect whilst maintaining a housey feel throughout. Really dig the bass line on this little beauty but it's the wild digitized arpeggio that keeps the party momentum flowing. Totally fly track yo!
