This guy appears to be creating some waves in recent times. A Scot stranded in London who successfully blends liquid techno with slicing elements of post-dubstep, garage & deep house. Quite how he does this so seamlessly I've no idea. 'The Slump' is one such effortless hybrid, a sleek, compulsive journey that could fit into many an eclectic DJ set, such is it's cross genre appeal! 'Prism' has a bit of a filtered, bouncy euphoric house edge that keeps your head in the stars - then the more downtempo 'Railroad' with it's implicit moody garage feel and smooth insistent bassline that evokes memories of the first wave of "intelligent DnB". The second disc has more silky garage-esque groovers, A cool, zinging FlyLo style brooder & a blissed out ambient tune as the concluding title track (probably my favourite as it sounds totally soothing & spacious!)
