These Swiss producers deliver the goods with a prime slice of dark minimal house/tech house with pristine production. A clicky number with spaced out vocals, tweaked for the floor with great attention to detail, although it is fairly minimal in essence it is in many ways, a more maximal take on the classic sounds of Perlon, Baby Ford, Soul capsule, Trelik etc. Eventually the vocals lead the way as the effects kick in and carry the track over a skeletal yet totally functional set of drums. It's a deep, deep track with details buried in the mix for the smokers. The A-side comes with a useful accapella but thee big news is; on that there flipside we get some dubbed out action from Detroit's Rod Modell under his Deepchord alias. The tempo here is a lot higher than I expected from Rod who works the vocals into a dense and washy brew of disorientating dub techno class action. His signiture infinite loop tricks soon become earworms and the track becomes a massive slab of sound with many layers to focus upon. A superb remix which I would totally get lost in if I was going out to clubs these days but I gotta be responsible and stay at home just incase the wife drops baby number three, which wouldn't be good if I was off my scone at 3AM.... But yeah Modell is well on form here, especialy when the celestial synth kicks in later on which makes the tune go even deeper for those already lost minds. Classy gear this.
