OK, i got this Cuz me Pain compilation LP that appears to be a showcase of the various artists on the label. I don't think I've come across any of this stuff before but it's all interesting, upbeat sounds. AAPS open the LP with a magical steel drum led melody before Visited kick in with a mutant electro dance number entitled 'My Broderie' that monkeys about with glitched beats and ghostly vocal ambiance. From here on I'm treated to various japanese bedroom productions that monkey about with electro pop, post-punk, shoe-gaze and experimental indie stuff. Everything here is totally of interest and it's fascinating to hear so many unfamiliar artists on one LP. The majority of the tracks here have distinctly lo-fi production values but more than make up for it with banging tunes. A curiosity worth further consideration. Check the press release for a full list of artists included, maybe you'll know a few.
