Bom bom, bom bom.. Loving the clangy, minimalistic post-punky bassline on this 'un. And the guitars which have been chorused to the point of sounding like they're pure liquid. With the messy DIY cut and paste artwork and odd all-round atmosphere of the thing it's got more than a touch of the hynogogic about it but it's far more maungy and gothy than most of that stuff. It totally sounds like some sort of ten-minute jam that The Cure might've come out with in their really early days if they'd have been so inclined. Good shit to be sure! Things are more purely synthy on the flip, with the first track almost being some sort of lo-fi dronefest and the second caning the arpeggiator in a bit of Oneohtrix-type action. Tidy.
