This is a bit like Delphic or something like that. I guess a bit less rabble rousing then Delphic. Maybe like New Order on horse tranquilizers? It has a prominent baggy feel. The drums are kind of bouncy and the vocals sound like Kevin Webster from Coronation Street. They don't sound like Kevin Webster really, I've just not got that many Manchester references. It has a certain swagger that can usually be found on all Kasabian records.. .is that a good thing? I don't care, nor do I fret. This is a really taut sounding recording that slaps you about the place like Liam Gallagher after too many Babychams. The remixes on the flip side aren't too bad. The bass rumbles and zings, the rhythms clap and shuffle, I look on nonplussed. It's proper laaaadss music. "Pass us that can of Stella, our kid" etc. It's worth checking out though so DO IT!!
