I've not heard these before but I was expecting mass twee indie as Summer Camp is about the indiest name I've ever heard in my life. And after clocking the genuinely inspiring sleeve (it's great) with the Scandinavian girls (probably Swedish I reckon) you'd probably come to the same conclusion if you're sane like me. Musically you get a coupla slabs of early 80's inspired pop with some hints of New order in there. 'Round the Moon' is not how I expected it to sound at all. I wasn't expecting male vocals... I wasn't expecting the Aha 'Take On Me' style chorus. I wasn't expecting to like it at all but it's actually really good. The flipside 'it's Summer' is somewhere between Bow Wow Wow and The Belle Stars. Great pop music!
