I remember when the last Ladytron album came out Vice asked some fella for his opinion on it and he came out with the amazing observation that it was 'music for girls who work in shoe shops'. 4/10 Brett Staff review, 09 September 2010

I remember when the last Ladytron album came out Vice asked some fella for his opinion on it and he came out with the amazing observation that it was 'music for girls who work in shoe shops'. It was their worst album and that but still, a bit harsh. Anyway, whenever I hear the efforts of these two I always think of that quote. At its brass tacks their music's a totally competent attempt at electropop but it's also totally inoffensive, insubstantial and unmemorable. The promo CD's just finished and apparently there was a Foals mix on there but I can't remember it happening. Case in point. Where am I again?
