Digitalis are on the ball at the moment with the last few synth records. This one continues that tradition with an astral futurist record from the duo of Jamie Potter and Jason E. Anderson and it's a belter. I'm totally digging the cascading oscillations and sci-fi soundcapes on offer here. Armed with Multimoog, Micromoog, SH-1-01, SH-1, Pro One (!!!!) synths and some drum machines they conjure up a vivid world of exploding meteors and space exploration. When the drums kick in on the second side things switch into a more techno mode with some cool bleeps hovering around a fairly simple rhythmic framework. It's sort of reminds me of Jeff Mills meets the Radiophonic Workshop. I'm really digging this record.
