- March to the Sea by Aids Wolf

Business Lady just came over and told me what to write. I like that as I was having difficulty thinking of how to describe the wonderfully christened & quite berserk Aids Wolf. I'm not sure if she's totally right but the words "Like Arab on Radar but not as good" fell out of her sexy, sneering lipsticked gob. We used to call this stuff S***zcore but we once upset someone in a wheelchair. Are we the Beastie Boys or summat? So i'm gonna call it Derangecore or lurchpunk. Whatever, this is a pretty thrilling ride from a collection of folk who basically make a staggering (& staggering) racket that sounds like 5 bands playing at the same time but is so brilliantly rhythmically unhinged & thrilling you can't help but wanna get up & dance. The free-jazz drums really keep it going for me. Half the time they're like a malfunctioning machine gun, the bass sounds like it's being wanked furiously by a seriously horny giant - so much so it resembles a fucking basoon. Then the skronky guitars scratch, belch, zing, shred & slice your face clean off in multiple ways. Top this with a seriously crazy woman moaning, chuntering & yelping like her feet are on fire. Bits of this remind me of old Camden scuzz rockers Silverfish, but on seriously insane drugs crossed with a No-Wave Big Flame at their most very mental. Times that by about 50 then you're somewhere near. Surprisingly listenable though. If you're an idiot like me that is.
