The Green Kingdom has released some wonderful albums most notably his North Wind and the Sun record on Lost Tribe Sound. Prismatic was an earlier effort which blended a micro-glitch style with haunting neo-classical in the fashion of Harold Budd. A Graphic Designer by trade, his music has a similar kind of attention to detail to create small world soundscapes.

CD on Home Assembly.
Northern stable of audio pastoralism Home Assembly has been hoovering up some fine talent in recent times. Now they're aiming their sights over the Atlantic, towards a man in Michigan, Michael Cottone, who likes to tinker about with twinkly ambient moods, guitar processing & occasional drifty, downtempo beatsmithery. This is another of those sublime, richly detailed & sensual excursions into sound that only truly works when there's nothing to detract from your purely solitary enjoyment of these crystalline, organic passages & gently massaging folds of near-tropical wonderment. Immerse yourself in this beauty, you may be gone sometime! A very elegant addition to the ever-expanding cannon of modern sound-art & ambient classics out there! Limited initial copies arrive with a remix disc featuring the talents of bvdub, Inch-Time, Declining Winter, Fieldhead, Part Timer & The boats (i.e. an all-star cast!!)

Lovely and calming ambient record. It's nothing very original but it's done with skill and care. Perfect background music and that's not meant as a criticism.
