Quick, put your introverted pants on, The Zephyrs are here and they have turned their smiles upside down with aplomb. This is what my Uncle would call "rainy day music". It's a well slick recording though. It sounds ace actually. Finding the music reminiscent of something like The Twilight Sad, albeit with less distortion and Scottishness. It makes you reflect about all the mistakes you may have made in your life, like the time you went for a run and a few kids started jogging behind you, then as you gain momentum the trickle of kids becomes a torrent and you use their energy to push you on, further faste, gettin stronger, you run breathless up the stairs of the City Hall and the kids start to say somthing, but what they are saying is no rousing chant, no call-to-arms. They are telling you you've forgot to put your pants on!! This single is exactly like this, honest to God. In the dimly lit world of the Zephyrs, misery doesn't so much love company, it keeps it shackled in a basement and has 27 bastard children, with eyebrows on their cheeks.....
